About us
A movement and congregation that unites India’s 8 crore traders — shopkeepers, businessmen, women, youth, street vendors and hawkers — and advocates stricter e-commerce regulation, promotion of indigenous products and practical welfare policies for traders.
Read our philosophyBringing together trade associations, shopkeepers and MSMEs under one voice.

Promoting the Swadeshi ideology to keep India’s wealth within India and empower the domestic market.
Swadeshi journey
India has always made its own way: from the charkha to the Moon. Every Indian-made product keeps that journey going.

Swadeshi began with the charkha: self-reliance, one thread at a time.

Our people
Men, women, youth, shopkeepers, street vendors and hawkers: every trader has a place.
Shopkeepers and local retailers in every town.
Wholesalers, distributors and mandi traders.
Small manufacturers and micro enterprises.
Street vendors and hawkers, for their rights and dignity.
Online sellers who want fair platform rules.
Associations and federations working together.
Our mission for Chhattisgarh
When Chhattisgarh’s traders choose, sell and carry Indian-made goods, local makers grow, jobs are created and the nation moves forward.
Give Indian-made goods a place on your shelf. Choose local and Indian brands first and tell your customers why it matters.
Stand with domestic manufacturers and MSMEs. Connect Chhattisgarh’s producers with traders so that good products reach more shops.
Help local traders and producers look beyond the district: new markets across India and abroad, better quality and fair prices.
Stronger local trade and production create work for young people and women, and drive the growth of the state and the country.
Reduce dependence on imports, build local value chains and take pride in Swadeshi: step by step towards a self-reliant India.
Our demands
The core policy demands of the Swadeshi Vyapari Manch movement.
Strict regulation of foreign e-commerce giants to protect India’s MSMEs and small traders from predatory pricing and unfair practices.
Nationwide campaigns urging consumers and traders to adopt indigenous products over foreign goods, especially during festive and wedding seasons.
Expanding the Swadeshi movement to tehsil and town levels, establishing a Swadeshi Fund, and advocating for a regulatory board for online trade.
Addressing practical issues of shopkeepers including hawkers’ rights, trade credit cards, GST simplification, and social security for traders.
